Not Medical Advice
Daybreak is a personal tracking and motivation tool. It is not a medical device, clinical treatment, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are struggling with addiction, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency services or a crisis line.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Daybreak, operated by Amelior Labs. By using Daybreak, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Daybreak is a sobriety and habit-change tracker that helps you log daily check-ins, track streaks, view body recovery timelines, and stay accountable. It is a personal motivation tool only.
Daybreak is not a licensed medical provider, therapist, or addiction treatment service. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice.
3. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Daybreak.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Daybreak offers a free tier and a Premium subscription with the following plans:
- Monthly: $4.99 USD / month
- Annual: $39.99 USD / year
- Lifetime: $149.99 USD one-time
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings.
Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after 48 hours. Subscription refunds are handled according to App Store / Play Store policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Daybreak. You may not: reverse engineer the app, use automated scripts to interact with it, attempt to access other users' data, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Health Disclaimer
Daybreak is a self-tracking tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis, clinical assessment, or addiction treatment. Recovery journeys are personal and complex.

Amelior Labs is not liable for any health outcomes, relapse events, or decisions made based on information displayed in the app.
7. Data & Privacy
Your use of Daybreak is also governed by our , which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in Daybreak is owned by Amelior Labs. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Your personal data remains yours.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amelior Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Daybreak. Our total liability to you for any claim does not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee that Daybreak will always be available, error-free, or that your streak data will always be preserved.
10. Termination
You may stop using Daybreak and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
